The 9th of September was an exciting day at Blue Apple, as our 100th Workskills course commenced. Due to complete on September 24th, the latest group are working hard to complete their BTEC Level 1 Certificate in Workskills qualification.
Course tutor Chris Coultas said “It is an honour to be asked to teach this group, it marks a landmark with the business, and it is great to work with such a positive class with so many people who want to learn. I am excited to see so many good work ready people who just need the right opportunity.”
The first Leeds cohort was back on the 25th May 2012, working out of the Interserve building on Wade Lane. Since then, nearly 3000 learners have successfully completed the programme, over 1100 ex learners are back into work. Four members of the Blue Apple team are graduates of the Workskills programme.
With a success rate of 98%, Blue Apple have developed a great reputation with the Job Centre, funders, local employers and most importantly with those that come on our programmes.
Following all the success we have had, we are excited about the next 100 courses as we help people ‘Stand Out From The Crowd’ and change lives.
